On demand journals Part 2…
If you come around here and look through the shop, you may notice the page that said journals is gone. There ARE journals on the extras page. Those are available through a print company that partners through my website provider.
The other page was a link to a paid store. I was trying that site to see if it was a good option. I do love those smaller journals I was making through there, and I can still log in to the printing company that makes them, I think, so I may just make some to have on hand.
I’ve just canceled my shop account there and deleted that journal link here because it was costing me $40 a month and I can do the same thing for free on my website. But the thing that really did it for me was an email that said “Your products are now available on (AI app I refuse to use)”
Hey, no thanks. I don’t use AI apps because I live in the desert and try not to waste water, and I have a background in geology where I primarily focused on geochemistry and hydrogeology. I’m concerned about the water usage. And as an artist, I don’t really like my work being put on there without asking me. (I would say no anyway)
Journals are available in the shop on the Extras page. They’re the ones in the middle on this image…they have a nice silky feeling paper on the cover. That matte silky paper is my favorite, so I’m happy to finally make a decision on this. haha Glad they made the decision for me.
